For Sec 2 students: Reading Passage Recording: 1. Download the short passage that has been uploaded onto on this website under (Shout Outs). A copy of the passage has also been given to you earlier. 2. Record yourself reading the passage on any recording devices (eg. tape recording, mp3 files saved on the following storage devices like mp3 usb players, mp3 players and rewritable CDs) 3. You may record your chosen reading passage in the school library as there are MP3 players which are available for loan for this purpose. 4. Name your file recording as NAME_ REG NO_CLASS _READING 5. The deadline for the submission of your recording is in 6/8/2010 Picture Discussion Recording Here are the steps which you will need to follow to prepare for your picture discussion task. 1. You are to use a picture from your class album, which corresponds to your index number. 2. Prepare and write a paragraph discussing the picture allocated to you. 3. Record yourself reading the written paragraph on any recording devices (eg. tape recording, mp3 files saved on the following storage devices like mp3 usb players, mp3 players and rewritable CDs) 4. Name your recording as NAME_REG NO_CLASS_PD 5. Email your recording to your teacher. 5.The deadline for the submission for your recording is in 13/8/2010 For Sec 1 students: 1. Your passage can be either one of the two text types: Narrative and Explanation. Kindly select 1 of the given passage (under Shout Outs) to carry out your recording. 2. Record your voice reading the passage on any recording devices (eg. tape recording, mp3 files saved on the following storage devices like mp3 usb players, mp3 players and rewritable CDs). 3. Label your recording using the following format: Class _Register No_ Name _ Robbery/Durian 4.Submit your recording to your teacher via the teacher's respective email address. 5.The deadline for the submission for your recording is in Week 7, 13/8/2010, 5pm. Feel free to explore the site. You may choose to listen to the sample oral recordings which are the benchmarks for the various bands.
